Is there parking available at your cafes? 
We have dedicated parking lots located near each of our restaurants.

What are your hours of operation?
During the weekdays we open at 9am and serve breakfast until 11am. We serve lunch and dinner from 11am to 10pm.
On weekends, breakfast is served from 9am to 11am. We serve brunch from 11am to 3pm. We offer dinner from 3pm to 10pm each weekend day. 

Do you have a gluten-free menu?
Many of our items are naturally gluten-free or can be prepared without gluten. Ask your host when ordering to learn more about items which may be prepared without wheat as an ingredient.

Do you have a kids menu?
We do offer kids items! Just ask your host when ordering. We also have high chairs, booster seats and changing tables available in our restrooms.  

Do you accept reservations?
Our cafes all feature friendly, casual counter-service. We welcome our guests to order with a host, help themselves to the beverage of their choice, and select the perfect spot to dine. We don’t offer reservations, but eating in our restaurants outside of peak dining hours will make for a faster visit!

Can you accommodate large parties?
Most of our cafes can comfortably seat groups of up to 12 guests. It is usually best to come in during quieter hours of service to ensure a comfortable fit for your party. We do not offer any private dining rooms at this time.

I love Northstar and I wish we had one where I live!  Do you franchise?
Northstar is family and operator owned. At this time we do not have any franchise opportunities (although it sure is sweet of you to think of us!).

Catering
We can accept large carry-out orders, but do not offer full-service catering.  Please call a café and speak with a Partner to place your order (at least 24 hours in advance).

Do you sell gift cards?
We do! They can be purchased here.

Do you have procedures in place to minimize cross-contact in the kitchen?
Yes! When you tell your server that you have a food allergy, they will add this information to your order. This will alert the kitchen that you have a food allergy and will trigger several processes, including changing their gloves and serving utensils. Each of our managers has completed a food safety course, which includes basic information about food allergies, in addition to safe food handling practices.

Even with processes and procedures in place, we are mindful that we are not an allergen-free facility. As such, we cannot guarantee that any item is free of any allergen. While we regret that this may disappoint some guests, we feel strongly about being transparent about what we can and cannot guarantee.

I have a serious food allergy?  How can I find out what’s safe for me to eat?
Because all of our dishes are prepared-to-order, our normal kitchen operations may involve shared cooking and preparation areas. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that any menu item can be completely free of allergens. 

What kind of oil do you use to fry food? 
We use 100% peanut oil for our fried foods. Our oil suppliers have indicated that this oil is highly refined and, per FDA, does not include any peanut protein. However, it is up to each of our guests to determine if it is safe for them to consume.
